Truly a
Once-In-A-Lifetime
Event! |
|
Saturday,
January
29,
2011
For the first time
in over 20 years
Rock Riddle
and
Rowdy
Roddy Piper
will once
again compete in
the professional
wrestling ring.
Their battle will take place as part of an historic
20-Man
Over-The-Top-Rope
LEGENDS
BATTLE ROYAL

To the best of our knowledge, this is the first
time that there has been a 20-man over-the-top-rope elimination
Legends Battle Royal . . . Ever!
Twenty professional superstars -
legends of the wrestling business - will face off at 8:00 pm on
Saturday, January 29, 2011. In addition to Riddle and
Piper, those legends will include
Cowboy Bob Orton, Terry Funk, Val
Venus, Tatanka, Mike Graham,
and thirteen additional major name stars.
This event is the pinnacle of an
amazing three-day pro wrestling super event. We expect
100+ professional wrestlers to attend. Take a look at just
some of the stars who are already confirmed.

The entire 3-day event is very reasonably priced, so please
attend 1, 2, or all three days.

The
20-man
Over-The-Top-Rope Legends Battle
Royal is
the featured highlight of an evening of professional wrestling
beginning at 8:00 PM on Saturday, January 29. Prices are
unbelievably inexpensive. Even ringside seats
are still available for $25.00 each! That's an absolutely
amazing price and the event is expected to sell out quickly.
And now the purchase of a ticket for Saturday night's
wrestling card also gets you
free general
admission
to the event for the entire day! Yes, you can spend your
entire Saturday - from 9:00 am
until
11:00 pm - at the remarkable WrestleReunion event and sit
ringside at the Legends Battle Royal, for as little as $25.00
per ticket. For tickets, go to the
www.WrestleReunion.com
website and click on the "Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Tickets"
button. When you buy your tickets, please insert a note
letting them know that you're coming out to see ROCK RIDDLE!
This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
There will be a lot of producers, directors, and film/TV stars
there. Come out early and meet everybody! This is
also your one (and very probably only) opportunity to boo the
original "Mr. Wonderful" of professional wrestling! What an amazing event this
will be. I look forward to seeing you there! Thank
you, in advance, for being a part of Pro Wrestling History! |

Now that this event is a part of
Professional Wrestling History, here are a few photo
highlights:
|

Shelton "The Gold Standard"
Benjamin (L) and Shad
Gaspard (Cryme Tyme) lift
Rock up to their level. Shad
is 6'8" and 303 lbs! Both
are extraordinary wrestlers! |
|
|

The "Mr. Wonderful" Attitude |
One of the finest active professional
wrestlers today, in my estimation, is
Shelton Benjamin. As video cameras
rolled, Shelton Benjamin called out to
his fellow WWE superstar Shad Gaspard.
"Oh my gosh, Shad!" he exclaimed, "Look!
It's Rock Riddle, the original Mr.
Wonderful!" |
|

Shad and Shelton pay homage to
their "hero." They are seen
regularly by hundreds of
millions of fans around the
world - and yet they "bow down"
(in fun, of course) to Rock. |
Shad came over, they both went down to
their knees, bowed repeatedly with their
arms extended while saying, "Oh, we're
not worthy, we're not worthy!" And yes,
that video will find its way to YouTube
within the next week or so, I'm sure.
What a great time we all experienced!
And what fun! Every day more and more
information and photos are showing up
online from last Saturday's event! |
|

Mean Gene Okerlund and Rock
Riddle |
Sam Kimbrell, co-producer of "The Tea
Party"" pilot (in which Rock starred),
was one of many, many producers who
attended the wrestling event last
weekend. He was one of the nearly 2,000
fans who comprised the totally sold-out
and overflowing crowd and witnessed pro
wrestling history being made on Saturday
night.
Quite a few APS members attended, and we
were delighted to have them there. For
those who were not able to witness the
event in person, here's a brief
overview: I was introduced by Mean Gene
Okerlund for my entrance to the 20-man
over-the-top-rope legends battle royal. |
|

"Wait a minute. Why is the
ceiling down there?" |
A
few photos from the legends battle royal
follow . . . |
|

WWE's "Powers of Pain" tag
team featured the Barbarian
and the Warlord. Warlord,
pictured, is only 6'5" and
323 pounds. But, he was
eliminated before I was! ;-) |
|
|

Roddy Piper threw Rock over
the top rope for that
10-foot fall to the floor.
(the bruises are almost gone
now) - ;-) |
|
|

Superstar Billy Graham with The
Iron Sheik . . . while Rock
not-terribly-patiently waits his
turn. |
Okay, I won't bore you with the other
100+ photos. Suffice it to say that it
truly was a once-in-a-lifetime
experience. What an honor it was to be
in the ring with twenty of the greatest
legends of professional wrestling! A DVD
will be produced from the event.
Hopefully it will be available soon. As
soon as it's available, I'll let you
know. Yes, I'll be buying "several"
copies! |
|

Superstar Billy Graham |
There's also a video of Superstar Billy
Graham talking about me. It was surreal
to stand behind the camera and watch as
he said, "I go on record, Superstar
Billy Graham goes on record that I am a
huge fan of Mr. Rock
Riddle, and, in fact, (smiling), have
stolen some of his promos. I admit this
on camera, to reveal to the world. I
love you, Rock Riddle. You're the main
man, brother. And, it's a pleasure to
see . . . " Well, Superstar went on for
another couple of minutes, but you get
the gist of it. What an amazing
compliment from one of the biggest
legends of pro wrestling. And, yes, that
video will probably find its way to
YouTube as well. |
|

This is Rock's friend Jesse
Kresa, otherwise known as "ODB."
She's one of today's best pro
wrestlers and attended our
estate event last Sunday. |
One of the television crews that covered
the wrestling event also covered the APS
Networking Event at the private estate
the next day - and at least half a dozen
APS actors were interviewed. I'm sure
some of the footage will be on
EdMagikTV.com soon.
Last Sunday was the first time that we
had ever experienced rain at one of our
estate networking events. Heavy rain
prior to the event caused the turnout to
be less than usual. For the first half
hour or so of the event, we experienced
intermittent, mostly light rain. But
even with the early rain, the event was
an excellent one. It seemed more
intimate and proved to be a very nice
and productive event. I want to thank
all of the people who helped make it
happen. And I want to thank two of the
world's best professional wrestlers for
joining us for the APS event. All of you
helped to make it a very special day -
which followed a very special day -
which followed a very special day! |
|

Rock seems to be surprised to be
in the ring with 20 pro
wrestling legends |
We'll be adding more photos below for
the next few weeks . . .
Thanks,
Rock Riddle
